Sachen Trust supports the education of monks at Sakya Magon Thupten Namgyal Ling institute in Puruwala, an institution for Higher Buddhist Learning. By educating monks in Buddhist philosophy in addition to their training in rites and rituals, the practice of Buddhism is thus steeped with proper philosophical understanding of the religion. With theory and practice together, the renunciates will be well equipped and prepared to help people in overcoming their lives’ difficulties and lead a fruitful and meaningful life.
